Randleman of Catalyst Receives PTA Recognition

The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) has recognized Brenda Randleman of Catalyst Sports Medicine for achieving the Advanced Proficiency Pathway in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

Randleman is being invited to the 2018 Honors and Awards ceremony during the NEXT 2018 Conference and Exposition in Orlando, Florida to receive the recognition with other recipients nationally. The purpose of the APTA Advanced Proficiency Pathways (APP) program for Physical Therapist Assistants is to clearly define post-graduation educational curriculum that leads to advanced proficiency in a selected area of physical therapy, like pediatrics, wound management or geriatrics. The APP also promotes career development and life-long learning, and is in place to assist physical therapists, employers, consumers and other healthcare professionals to identify PTA's with the advanced knowledge and skill in a specified area of physical therapy.

Randleman's area of advanced knowledge and skill is Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Her clinical mentor and advisor throughout the program and certification has been Physical Therapist JW Matheson, Co-Owner and Clinic Director at Catalyst Sports Medicine.
